Bookshop Returns Policy
Credit Notes for Textbooks
Will only be considered:
- Prior to April 1st for First Semester
- Prior to September 1st for Second Semester
FOR
- Withdrawal from unit of study
- Incorrect textbook purchased for unit of study
- Exemption granted from a unit of study
Credit Notes for General Books
Will only be considered in exceptional circumstances
Before issue of a credit note, customers are required to:
- Produce sales receipts or invoice as proof of purchase
- Return goods in mint condition
- Provide evidence of amendment to enrolment (where applicable)
Misbound & Faulty Goods
All misbound and faulty goods will be exchanged or purchase price
refunded
External Students
External students who return books to the Bookshop for credit, through
no fault of the Bookshop, shall be responsible for any postage and
freight charges. Where the Bookshop is at fault, postage and freight
charges will be met by the Bookshop.
Goods Covered by a Manufacturer's Warranty
Goods covered by a manufacturers warranty will be accepted for repair
or replacement by the Bookshop, on behalf of the manufacturer, provided
these goods were sold by the Bookshop.
Pricing Policy
We will display the price you will pay.
Prices include a discount off Recommended Retail Price. Some titles,
such as imported titles have no discount.
Postage and Handling
Most orders except large shipments are sent by Express Post bags
for speedy delivery and to ensure products are received by our customers
in mint condition.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. The Curtin University Bookshop will not
forward your personal information to any other organisation without
your written permission. The information provided is only used to
process orders.
